  • The Long Way Home.
    2026/08/24

    💜🍃🎙️

    I went to prison.

But this story isn't just about mine.

Because some prisons don't have bars.

Some look like relationships you can't seem to leave.

Some look like needing everybody's approval.
Some look like being strong because you don't know how to fall apart.
    Some look like shame.
    Fear.
    Guilt.
    Addiction.
    People-pleasing.
A past you escaped physically... but still live inside emotionally.

    My gate eventually opened.

Maybe yours never had a gate.

The Long Way Home isn't just the story of how I came home.

It's about the prisons we carry with us...

and the long road back to the person we were before we learned how to survive.

So while you're listening to my story, don't just ask:

    “What happened to her?”

    Ask yourself:

“What am I still trying to get free from?” 💜

  • The Toothache-Part 2 (The Hole It Left Behind)
    2026/08/19

    🎙️🌿🦷

    We found the pain.

We followed it to the source.

    We got to the root.

Now comes the part nobody really wants to talk about:

What if it has to come out?

In Part 2 of The Toothache, we move from awareness to extraction—and discover that knowing what's hurting us isn't the same as being willing to release it.

Because sometimes we're attached to the very thing we're asking God to heal us from.

    And when it's finally removed?

    There's a hole.

An empty place where a relationship, habit, identity, coping mechanism—or old version of ourselves—used to live.

And empty can make us panic.

So we rush to fill it.

    Another relationship.

    Another distraction.

    Another audience.

    Another escape.

But maybe the hole isn't asking to be filled.

Maybe it's asking to be healed.

This episode is about extraction, detachment, protecting the empty place, resisting the urge to go back—and trusting God long enough to discover that an empty space isn't always evidence of loss.

    Sometimes...

it's evidence that the infection doesn't live there anymore.

  • The Toothache-Part 1 (Which Side Are You Chewing On)
    2026/08/19

    🎙️🌿🦷

    A tooth starts hurting.

    At first, you ignore it.

    Then you adjust.

You stop chewing on that side. You avoid certain foods. You take something for the pain.

And eventually, you've rearranged your life around one hurting place.

What if we've done the same thing emotionally?

What if some of what we've called healing was really just learning which side to chew on?

In Part 1 of The Toothache, we look beneath the pain.

Because pain isn't always the problem.

Sometimes pain is the messenger saying:

    “Look here.”

    The anger.

    The rejection.

    The people-pleasing.

    The need to be needed.

The thing you keep returning to.

The place that still throbs when something touches it.

Maybe instead of asking God only to make the pain stop, it's time to ask:

“What is this pain pointing to?”

Because behavior can tell us where the pain went.

But pain can sometimes tell us where the wound is.

    And once we've found it...

it's time to get to the root.

  • Living On Purpose.
    2026/08/19

    🎙️🌿💜

What happens when you stop waiting for permission to live?

    Not applause.

    Not approval.

    Not a cheering section.

    Not even certainty.

    Just purpose.

For a long time, simply making it through was enough.

But there comes a point when being still here isn't the whole testimony.

You have to decide what you're going to do with the life that remained.

In this episode of Where Healing Began, we're talking about the difference between existing and intentionally showing up for your own life.

    Living when nobody claps.

    Moving when nobody understands.

    Becoming when nobody is watching.

And choosing purpose—not because everything finally makes sense, but because you have finally decided that your life doesn't need an audience to have meaning.

    I am still here.

    But this time...

    I'm here on purpose.

  • The Tear That Grew Feet.
    2026/08/14

    Some tears fall.

    Mine learned to wait.

    They waited behind smiles.

    Behind laughter.

    Behind I'm fine.

Behind the woman who had learned that letting people see her hurt felt too much like handing them the weapon.

    So I held them.

Not because there was nothing to cry about.

    Because there was too much.

Somewhere along the way, holding back tears stopped being something I did and became someone I knew how to be.

Until I began to wonder: Where do tears go when you refuse to let them fall?

I imagined mine locked away inside me—carrying years of things they had never been given permission to say.

And then I saw her differently.

    One tear.

    No longer waiting for permission.

No longer asking whether it was safe to come out.

    She didn't just fall.

    She grew feet.

And she walked away carrying something I didn't need to carry anymore.

Maybe healing isn't always about getting something back.

Sometimes healing is watching something that once lived inside you leave—and realizing you don't have to chase it.

This episode is for every person who became so good at surviving that even their tears learned how to hide.

Maybe they're not waiting to break you.

Maybe they're waiting to set you free.

  • The Ashes Didn't Know I Was A Seed.
    2026/08/14

There are seasons that don't just hurt you.

    They burn things down.

    Plans.

    Relationships.

    Identity.

Even the version of yourself you thought you would become.

And when the fire is over, sometimes all you can see is what's left behind.

    Ashes.

I thought the ashes were proof that something had ended.

I didn't realize something was buried underneath them.

    Something alive.

    Something waiting.

Maybe you've been looking at the remains of your own life and calling it over.

    Maybe it isn't.

Because here's what I learned: The ashes didn't know I was a seed.

And seeds don't need everything to look alive before they start growing.

This episode is for anyone who has ever had to discover that what tried to bury you may have simply put you in the ground where you could finally grow.

  • The Prison I carried Inside.
    2026/08/06

    🌿🎙️💜Prison changed my address,

but it didn't change the road

I had been walking long before I arrived.

In Part 2, I take you deeper into what happened

after the prison gates closed behind me.

It wasn't just about serving time...

It was about facing the woman

    I had become to survive.

    The guilt.

    The shame.

    The regret.

    The voices from my past.

And the long road God was asking me to walk...

one no one else could walk for me.

    Sometimes the hardest prison

isn't made of steel and concrete.

    Sometimes...

it's the one we carry inside.

    If you've ever wondered whether

your past has the final word...

    this episode is for you.

    Because freedom doesn't always begin

    when the prison doors open.

    Sometimes...

    it begins when healing does.

  • An Unwritten Life
    2026/07/30

🌿Before we continue down the road to Prison: Part 2, we need to stop for a moment.

Usually, I would say, “Let’s take a walk. "But not today.

Today, we’re going to sit with her.

The woman who never got the chance to become.

There is a grief we don’t talk about very often—the grief of realizing that while the years were passing, survival was living parts of our lives for us.

What happens when you look back and realize you’re not only grieving what happened to you… you’re grieving the person you might have become if you had been given the chance?

This is not Prison: Part 2.This is the space between.

    A pause.

    An acknowledgment.

    A goodbye.

    This is An Unwritten Life.

An interlude from Where Healing Began.

Sometimes healing isn’t only about grieving what happened to us.

Sometimes we have to grieve who never got the chance to happen.
