Sometimes you don't leave a place because something terrible happened. Sometimes you simply realize that you are no longer looking for your place there.

In this episode of The Reclaimed Life Podcast, I explore what it feels like when a community, relationship, or place that once felt like home no longer does—and when you can't quite explain why.

For years, I struggled to understand why I repeatedly found myself walking away from places that had once mattered deeply to me. I thought I needed a reason. I thought I needed someone to tell me where I belonged next.

What I eventually began to understand was that I wasn't necessarily being rejected. I was learning that I could keep walking without needing someone else to validate where I was going.

Sometimes the hardest part isn't leaving the room.

It's realizing you've already left.

And perhaps you don't need to find another room to replace it.

Maybe there's a road waiting outside.

And maybe you're already walking on it.
