SPECIAL HALLOWEEN EPISODE: JASON vs MICHAEL

We celebrate the ACTUAL ‘Most Wonderful Time of the Year’ (shut up, Kevin) by welcoming not one but TWO horror icons to the WHEN WE WERE BOUNCERS podcast, with stories from BRAD LOREE (Michael Myers, Halloween: Resurrection) and KEN KIRZINGER (Jason Voorhees, Freddy vs Jason)

WWE, AEW and New Japan Pro Wrestling star MVP stops in to discuss his days as a burgeoning criminal in 1980s Miami, growing from a boy to a man in a maximum-security penitentiary, and the bouncing career that brought him together with some of the biggest international stars of the music business and combat sports.

Hosted by Paul Lazenby and Kevin Banner

Produced by Mike Howorun and Matthew Hall

Legendary pro wrestler, rockstar, podcaster, actor, author and overall renaissance man CHRIS JERICHO checks in for our second episode, with back-in-the-day tales of mayhem including murderous Asian gangs, obnoxious NHL players, disgusting stripper dressing rooms, and his (and host Paul “The Mauler” Lazenby’s) pro wrestling origins in the legendary Hart Dungeon.

UFC heavyweight champion, actor, trainer, inventor and Karate Combat chairman “EL GUAPO” BAS RUTTEN kicks off the debut episode of WHEN WE WERE BOUNCERS!

Bas joins former training partner/fellow Pancrase fighter Paul “The Mauler” Lazenby to share some of the WILDEST bouncing stories ever, involving brutal street fights, military explosives, a ‘beard of blood’ and the world’s most dangerous stairs, along with his insights about the psychology of bouncing.
