Jason and Alexia Preston sit down with Kristy Johnson as she shares her deeply personal story of surviving years of childhood sexual abuse, the struggle to be believed, and the lasting impact it had on her family and adult life. She recounts how repeated attempts to seek help were, in her telling, mishandled or minimized by people in positions of authority, and how she eventually chose to go to law enforcement and speak publicly. Kristy also reflects on confronting her father decades later, the making of the documentary No Crime in Sin, and how telling the truth became part of reclaiming her life and helping other survivors find the courage to speak.
