In this sermon from Joshua 1–6, we look at the story of Joshua and the walls of Jericho to discover what obedient faith looks like when God’s promises require patience and endurance. Israel had God’s promise, but they still had to surrender their own plans, trust His direction, and keep marching before the walls ever came down.
Faith is not asking God to bless our plans, it is surrendering our plans to His command. When we face “life walls” that seem impossible to overcome, God calls us to trust the Promise Giver, obey what He has said, and remain faithful even when we cannot yet see the result.
