What do you do when God seems to answer everyone else's prayers but yours?
Can you still trust him when the door you prayed would open stays firmly shut?

John the Baptist faced that painful question from a prison cell. Jesus pointed him towards all the good God was doing, but John himself was not rescued.

In this 5-minute Christian devotional, we explore how to trust God when a prayer remains unanswered and the answer seems to be "not yet". Faith does not mean pretending the disappointment does not hurt. It means learning to rest in who God is, rather than insisting on what we believe he must do.

Today, name the loss honestly, notice where God is still at work, and pray with open hands: "Lord, I will let you lead."

When God withholds, he doesn't withdraw. He is still near. He is still good.
