We all know our strengths. We know what we're good at, what comes naturally, and where we tend to shine. And just like in golf, it's easy to spend our time working on the parts of our game we enjoy. But what about our weaknesses?
In this episode of Shanktification, we wrestle with a bigger question: Should we spend our lives maximizing our strengths, fixing our weaknesses, or learning to see both through the eyes of God? Golf has a funny way of exposing what we're good at—and what we're trying very hard not to work on. And spiritually, our weaknesses may not be the obstacles we think they are. They may be some of the very places where God is teaching us dependence, humility, and trust. Sometimes the part of our game we want to hide is the part God wants to use.
Shanktification — Golf, grace, and the beautiful struggle for perfection.
