Caregiving can feel painfully slow. The same responsibilities, struggles, and prayers continue day after day. But slow does not mean aimless.
In this episode, I draw from the careful adjustments required for Gracie's new prosthetic legs. A body shaped by decades of trauma cannot be corrected overnight. Neither can a life. God understands what has shaped us, knows exactly what He is correcting, and works with a wisdom that never hurries and never wastes time.
I also celebrate eight years of Hope for the Caregiver on American Family Radio, share a small-town Montana story involving our postmaster and an urgent request for Imodium, and return to Ecclesiastes 3:11 with the caregiver hymn of the week, "In His Time."
When progress seems glacial and caregiving appears endless, I keep returning to what is true: God makes all things beautiful in His time.
