What if your fear of being seen was never really about other people?

In this episode, I explore one of the most common fears I've worked with in 20 years as a licensed psychotherapist and coach: the fear of being seen and judged. It doesn't always look like hiding. Sometimes it shows up as perfectionism, people-pleasing, overthinking, or never posting the thing you really want to share. I unpack why these patterns aren't character flaws but protective strategies, and the shame that often lives underneath them.

You'll learn why some people's opinions sting so much more than others, and three ways to create lasting change: inquiry, the Paradox of Transformation, and the three layers of being seen, including a U-turn back toward yourself that shifts your whole relationship with visibility. I also share why "feel the fear and do it anyway" isn't the whole answer.

If there's a place in your life where you're holding back, like an offer you haven't launched or a truth you haven't spoken, this episode is a gentle invitation to stop waiting to be seen and start seeing yourself. Tune in, and if someone comes to mind, share it with them.
