For most of my life, I believed my worth was tied to productivity, achievement, and success.
Then motherhood slowed me down.
In this episode, I reflect on how becoming a mother has challenged many of the beliefs I held about work, ambition, accomplishment, and what makes a life meaningful.
Through the lens of Chinese Medicine and Yang Sheng—the art of nourishing life—we explore the wisdom of living in accordance with the season we are actually in, rather than the season we wish we were in.
Nature does not bloom all year. It does not harvest all year. It does not rest all year. Every season has its purpose, and every season asks something different of us.
This is a conversation about slowing down, trusting timing, letting go of the pressure to do it all, and discovering the abundance that can be found in simply being present for the life that is already here.
What season of life are you in?
And what might change if you stopped fighting it?
