Vacation is supposed to quiet your brain, but what happens when your brain is wired like a quest log? We’re back from an anniversary cruise with a very modern problem: trying to relax while still juggling work responsibilities, access requests, and the nagging feeling that progress never pauses. That jump from Caribbean downtime to real-life “support tickets” becomes the perfect setup for a bigger conversation about how games train us to chase goals and how hard it can be to truly log off.

From there, we share two surprisingly game-shaped experiences. First, a Key West stop that turns into a delicious memory, then a wild dining show called La Petite Chef where projection mapping makes your tabletop look like a video game level complete with a tiny chef, an AI rival, and a full-on boss fight that ends with the real course landing in front of you.
