Melissa Casias's long awaited autopsy report is finally in, and in this episode, Gina and Amber break down exactly what it says, including new context from the Mondragon family about the remote stone basin where Melissa was found, and why it doesn't match what NMSP originally told them.
They walk through the gunshot trajectory, the toxicology findings that are still incomplete, and why forensic experts, including former FBI Special Agent Daniel Bruner, are questioning whether the manner of death, officially listed as undetermined, tells the whole story.
They also revisit key evidence and statements from earlier episodes in light of what's now known, and share where Gina and Amber personally stand on the case. Everything shared in this episode comes directly from the official autopsy report, documented evidence, and statements from Melissa's family and their legal team.
