Why do some forms of exercise become part of our lives while others disappear after a few weeks?
In this episode of GanzinBewegung, I speak with Antti Rahikka, founder of Sisu Grip, about movement, motivation and what helps people create lasting habits.
Rather than starting with discipline or the idea that we simply need to push ourselves harder, Antti brings attention to something much more fundamental: the experience of movement itself. When movement feels enjoyable, natural and rewarding, we are more likely to want to do it again.
We explore the connection between positive experiences, motivation, repetition and habit formation, and why becoming aware of how we move can be an important first step towards change. We also talk about the role of community and how sharing movement with others can support motivation and make it easier to keep going.
At the heart of our conversation is a simple idea:
The best movement is the movement that you want to repeat.
A conversation about movement, motivation, awareness, positive experiences and creating conditions that make us genuinely want to keep moving.
