Dear Friends,

God showed up in a special way for this episode of Indestructible Life.

Last week included lots of activity because my sweet and generous daughter-in-love invited me to attend a women’s conference with her. I worked hard to accomplish responsibilities ahead of time, but I couldn’t get this episode recorded before traveling out of town.

I wasn’t even sure about the subject matter until Tuesday.

So, I left for the conference on Wednesday, planning to record this video on Sunday. Which I did… except I still didn’t know exactly what to share. I’d pondered the Scripture passage on Saturday with the intention of creating a message outline/notes.

Yet that didn’t happen.

I couldn’t determine anything substantial to share. I later contemplated other topics than the one the Holy Spirit had impressed upon me. And I seriously considered scheduling an encore presentation of a popular episode from the past.

However, something changed.

On Sunday afternoon, I decided to prepare for the video. I moved forward with an idea to sit in my office, hit record, and completely rely on the Holy Spirit’s leading. Because I had nothing other than the Scripture passage and a title.

And you know what? God showed up!

I shouldn’t be surprised. Of course He showed up. But it was an amazing experience to begin a message basically empty and allow the Holy Spirit to give me thoughts and words as I spoke. Praise be to the Lord!
