Join us this week as Benjamin and Christina discuss John Mark Comer's book, Practicing the Way. Comer is a pastor and author in Los Angeles, California, and has reached incredible popularity in the Christian world in the past few years. In this episode, Benjamin and Christina talk about Comer's latest book, Practicing the Way and discuss what it means to be with Jesus, become like Jesus, and do as Jesus did. Is the purpose of disciples of Jesus Christ to do as Jesus did? Or do as Jesus told us?
Benjamin and Christina walk through each the three pillars of "practicing the Way" and give their thoughts on where things Comer says line up biblically, and also where they have concerns about the theology presented in the book. Ultimately, Benjamin and Christina set out to ask the question, are Christians supposed to "do as He did," or "do as He told us," which they argue, are two different things.
