What Are You Fighting For?
Fighting For Your Fairytale is officially back — but a lot of life has happened since we last sat behind the microphones.
For the relaunch, Sarah is joined by her husband Tony for an honest conversation about what “fighting for your fairytale” actually means after nearly 20 years together, 33 years of Tony building businesses, a move to a new state, career changes, health challenges, financial struggles, changing friendships, and more than a few seasons that looked nothing like a fairytale while they were living them.
It starts with a question Sarah and Tony once asked each other about their relationship:
If you knew it was going to be this hard, would you still have done it?
Their answer might surprise you.
Because the fairytale isn't a life where nothing goes wrong. Go back to almost any fairytale you've ever loved and there was a villain, an obstacle, a battle or a seemingly impossible moment before the happily ever after.
Real life isn't all that different.
In this episode, Sarah and Tony talk about resilience, knowing your why, taking responsibility for the life you want, having faith while still taking action, getting comfortable with being uncomfortable, and why the part of someone else's success you see is rarely the whole story.
Whether the thing you're fighting for right now is your marriage, health, career, finances, faith, family, friendships or simply becoming the person you know you're capable of being, this conversation is your reminder:
You can want the fairytale. But you have to be willing to fight for it.
