Welcome to Home is Where the Heart is!
Hey, my name is Allie! I’m a military teen who has lived in four countries, moved eight times, and attended ten different schools.
In this episode, I’m chatting with Jaleigh, a military kid who’s moved a lot, dealt with deployments, and kept on going, time and time again. Jaleigh’s actually one of my longtime friends (ran into her during 2 assignments, #milkidlife), so enjoy this relaxed convo; we talk all things back to school, moving, overseas vs. the States, and how the future may be a little blurry sometimes.
This project is part of my Girl Scout Gold Award and is dedicated to building a community for military kids while sharing the realities of military brat life with a wider audience, fostering empathy and community.
