1. Protection — Sometimes He makes you lie down (Psalm 23:2) because He knows what you don’t. Rest isn’t punishment—it’s provision.

2. Perseverance — The waiting is not wasted. It’s developing grit, trust, and total dependence on Him. (Habakkuk 2:3)

3. Pivot — When He slows you down, it may be to speak something new. Pay attention. He’s often redirecting your next step.
