Five of the top seven teams fell on the same wild Saturday. George Schroeder and Todd Unzicker unpack the historic upsets and ask: Is there a truly dominant team in college football this season?

They discuss how NIL and the transfer portal may be leveling the playing field, and why teams such as BYU, Utah, Houston, and LSU are emerging as serious contenders. They also break down the big questions facing Georgia, Ohio State, Indiana, Alabama, Tennessee, and Texas.

Then the conversation turns to college football’s move to a 24-team playoff. George and Todd debate what a larger field could mean for the stakes, rivalries, and drama of the regular season.

The episode also includes George’s story from a mission trip to Slovenia, where he and his church group encouraged local missionaries and pastors and shared the gospel. The hosts invite listeners to pray for Nate, a Slovenian runner George met on the trip.

The show wraps with picks for the week’s matchups, including Indiana at Michigan, LSU at Auburn, Ole Miss at Texas, Houston at Utah, and Texas A&M at Alabama.
