Wednesday's goodbyes and hellos: The E.W. Scripps Company eliminates 431 positions (Cincinnati, Ohio); Ice Cream Specialties, a Prairie Farms subsidiary, ends production in Brentwood, Missouri (107); two farm employers file notices in Pasco and Granger, Washington (283); Teva plans to close its Fairfield, New Jersey plant (61); Morton Salt shuts its Fairport Harbor, Ohio mine after water intrusion (77); and North Bay Regional Health Centre cuts 36 positions (North Bay, Ontario).

Veronika's leads: 100+ new roles at Scripps plus remote media jobs at PlanetScale, Doximity and Descript; 2,900 Amazon holiday jobs in the St. Louis area and garage door technician roles; Tyson Foods, Core & Main and Port of Kennewick openings; 330+ new Amneal manufacturing jobs in Piscataway; Swagelok's 1,200+ hires in Lake County plus City of Painesville jobs; and City of North Bay and Ontario Northland openings. Bonus relocation lead: Audi plans its first US plant at the Middle Georgia Mega Site near Perry, Georgia, about 4,500 jobs.
