Weber State’s 2026-27 hoops season just dropped—and it’s a wild ride. With 18 home games, every Utah NCAA team on the docket, and new coach Kaleb Canales bringing NBA savvy, the Wildcats are firing on fresh energy. They open with three exhibitions, then hit the road for Oregon State, host Utah Valley for the home opener, and dive into a brutal 20-game Big Sky slate. The Junction City Jam returns, and they’ll face Utah, Utah State, and BYU before conference play kicks in. Early Big Sky matchups include new members Utah Tech and Southern Utah. The season ends with home games against Idaho State and Eastern Washington, capped by the Big Sky Championships. With only two returning players, this is a team in rebuild mode—but the hype is real.
