Episode 317 This episode is a great look at the man behind the music—a Marine, an artist, a storyteller, and a reminder that the experiences that shape us can become the fuel that drives us forward. This is Chris Lozano. From Colorado’s Western Slope to some of the biggest stages in country music, Chris Lozano brings grit, authenticity, and a whole lot of energy to everything he does. A 15-year United States Marine Corps Infantry Staff Sergeant, Chris carries the discipline, determination, and warrior mindset from his military service into his music and performances. His country-rock sound combines driving guitars, powerful storytelling, and the small-town values that shaped him. Chris has opened for country legends including Toby Keith, Clay Walker, and Shenandoah, while also earning recurring performances at Las Vegas venues such as Ole Red and Gilley’s. His high-energy show has become a staple at major Western sporting events, including the PBR World Finals and the National Finals Rodeo. Now signed with Nashville’s Label 22, Chris is recording new music at the historic RCA Studio C with four-time Grammy-nominated producer Eddie Gore. His newest singles continue to honor his roots, his military background, and the timeless spirit of American country rock. During the episode, Chris also highlighted three songs that capture the heart of his music and the stories he wants to share: 🎵 “Boots Sacred Grounds”🎵 “Backroad Nights” – Chris Lozano🎵 “Freedom Leads the Way” – Chris Lozano From military service to music, Chris’s story is one of discipline, resilience, freedom, and staying true to where you came from. This is an episode filled with great conversation, great music, and a powerful reminder that our experiences can become the fuel that drives us forward.
