All our lives have certain areas that are dry and barren. These spaces feel completely devoid of the hand of God and often can leave us feeling hopeless. We see today how the Holy Spirit is the only one who can flood these places with his presence and power, turning them too into fertile and fruitful areas.

As we wait for the heavens to open and drop their dew, we must prepare the land that we have cleared. To prepare it, we must know the condition of the land. Today we look at our lives and examine if there is any unfruitful land in it. If there is, God is willing to restore fruitfulness to it.

Restoration is a journey and not a destination. The psalmist reminds us of this in Psalm 126. Today, Ebenezer teaches us from this poignant Psalm of all that God has done in the past and can be counted on to do in the future.

We have Jenifer sharing God’s word today from Psalm 65. She gives us a deeper understanding of the divine providence of God, and helps us respond to Him in ways that He created us to.
