このコンテンツについて
In this episode, our guest is Nic Newton. A good friend of mine living in Thomasville, AL. He is the Youth Director and Associate Campus Director at 3Circle Church in Thomasville.
Over the last couple years, Nic has experienced loss like much of us will never experience. In about a year's span, Nic lost his mother after a long battle with alcoholism, he lost two grandparents, and a player in which he coached. Nic shares how he struggled to find a reason why early on, but ultimately shares how grieving, surrounding yourself with good community, and considering God's sovereignty in times of loss is crucial.
In the second half of the podcast, we talked about ministry in rural America. There are many positives and some negatives to doing ministry in a town like Thomasville. Nic shares how he has battled comparison and tradition, yet he is continuously encouraged by the togetherness of the community.
