  • The Last Broadcast on Dove Creek Road — Fexingo Horror
    2026/05/07
October 1943. Luna is stationed near the small town of Baird's Mill, West Virginia, when a local woman named Elara Haskett comes to the field hospital with a story she cannot explain. For three nights, her husband's ham radio—long dead since he shipped out—has crackled to life at 2:47 AM, playing a recording of his voice from the night before he died at Guadalcanal. The broadcast is always the same: nineteen seconds of static, then his voice saying 'I'm still here, Ellie. I'm still here.' But on the third night, the message changes. Luna accompanies Elara to the farmhouse on Dove Creek Road, expecting a grief-stricken hallucination. What she finds instead is a radio that has never been connected to power, a room that grows colder with each transmission, and a final broadcast that leaves both women questioning whether death is truly an ending—or just a bad signal.

  • The Night-Blooming at St. Dymphna's — Fexingo Horror
    2026/05/06
In the autumn of 1943, Luna was stationed as a volunteer at St. Dymphna's Convalescent Home for Nervous Cases, a converted Victorian mansion outside the town of Ashland, Pennsylvania. The place was quiet—too quiet. The women there rarely spoke. But Luna noticed something in the garden after dark: a patient named Evelyn who only came out at night, barefoot in the frost, her hands cupped around something that glowed pale green. The night nurses warned Luna not to follow her. This is the story of what Luna saw in the rose maze, and the root system that connected Evelyn to something far older than the war.

  • The Dancer at Maplewood Sanatorium — Fexingo Horror
    2026/05/05
Winter 1944, upstate New York. A young woman named Elara checks into Maplewood Sanatorium, not for tuberculosis but for what the doctors call melancholia. She cannot stop dancing—not in the ballet studio, not in her room, but in the dark hallway outside Ward C, at exactly two in the morning. The night nurse, a woman named Grace who has worked at Maplewood for eight years, watches from the station as Elara moves without music, without shadow, without leaving footprints on the linoleum. Grace tries to understand, tries to document, tries to forget. But when she follows Elara one frostbitten night to the locked ward's end, she finds a door that should not open—and a room where the air is still warm with the memory of a performance that ended forty years ago. This episode is about the dance we cannot stop, the rhythm that finds us in the dark, and the places where memory refuses to lie still.

  • The Well at Willow Creek Farm — Fexingo Horror
    2026/05/04
October 1944. A farmhouse outside Cades, South Carolina, two miles off the main road. Luna tells the story of a woman named Ruth Gentry, who wrote to her husband overseas every night for a year. Every letter ended the same way: 'Come home from the well.' The letters came back, but something else came up from the well instead. No neat answers. Only a dry hole in the ground, a child's name scratched into the stone lip, and the sound of water where there should have been none.

  • The Signal at Pender's Mill — Fexingo Horror
    2026/05/03
December 1943, outside the small town of Oak Springs, Iowa. Luna receives a wounded soldier at the field hospital who keeps repeating a frequency: 47.7. He says he heard it from a dead radio in a bombed-out barn near the old Pender's Mill, a place the locals swear has been silent for years. When Luna drives out to check, she finds the radio still warm, the mill's turbine grinding without water, and a voice on the static that knows her name. A story about what reaches through the cracks of war, what listens back, and the cost of tuning in.

  • The Miller House — Fexingo Horror
    2026/05/02
October 1942, outside the town of Whitmore, Ohio. I was at a general store when a woman named Edith Baxter asked for my help with her brother. He'd come back from the Pacific theater in September — not wounded, not ill, just different. She said he hadn't spoken since he walked through the door. What I found in the Miller house was not a man haunted by memory. It was a man who had brought something back with him — something that sat at the foot of his bed every night, something that wore his face when the candles went out.
