On the dying world of Wanderhome, engineer Summer and her rough-edged Krokian partner Vopee scrape by repairing old machines and surviving the wastes. After helping an old farmer bring his broken harvester back to life, the two set out for Bloodwood; the last free city on the planet and the rumored heart of a growing rebellion.

But beyond the Republic’s crumbling borders, danger still lingers in the dust... and the deeper they ride, the clearer it becomes that Wanderhome was never meant to be free.
