Raise your hand if you know what it's like to feel nauseous all the freaking time! Or if you've ever traded that in for rock hard poops and the inability to take a sh!t for days on end (thanks, Zofran side effects!). In this episode, we ponder the joys - and challenges - of the nausea and vertigo that have accompanied Amy's Long COVID for the past 6+ years. We also share strategies for coping with the symptoms and grappling with the reality of everyday living when one's body is in constant revolt.
WALKING THE PLANK
I’m a drunk without the drink
Wobbly on my feet, knocky in my knees
Seasick without the sea, I’m homesick for the sea
And yet too sick to see the sea
Vertigo and nausea are my sentence
Though my crime is unclear
A drunk without the drink
A sailor on dry land
I walk the plank back to bed
