Sis… pass me the Bible, because we need to TALK about this one. 👀

Jairus’ daughter is dying. Jesus is already on His way to the house. This is an EMERGENCY.

And then…

Jesus stops.

All because somebody touched His clothes.

But here’s the part we don’t talk about enough: Jesus knew who touched Him.

So why did He stop?

In Episode 3 of Sis, Pass the Bible!, we’re getting into the woman with the issue of blood AND Jairus’ daughter—but not the way you’ve heard it preached a hundred times before.

One woman had been bleeding for 12 years.
One little girl was 12 years old.

One needed healing.
One needed resurrection.

And right in the middle of both stories, Jesus shows us something powerful about shame, waiting, interruption, healing, faith, and what happens when somebody else’s miracle seems to delay yours.

Because maybe Jesus wasn’t asking “Who touched me?” because He needed an answer.

Maybe He stopped because she wanted to leave with a miracle, but Jesus wasn’t going to let her leave still carrying the shame.

And Jairus?

Whew. 😮‍💨

He had to stand there and watch Jesus handle somebody else’s situation while his own situation got WORSE.

But hear this:

Jesus wasn’t late. Jairus just didn’t know his miracle could survive a delay.

And somebody else receiving their miracle does NOT mean God forgot your address.

He can heal HER…

and still come to YOUR house.
