We have entered the Age of AI. And everywhere, people are asking the same questions:
Will AI replace us?
Will it make us less human?
Will it become dangerous?
Could it even become one of the greatest threats humanity has ever created?
Technology has always reflected the consciousness of the people using it. We discovered the enormous power hidden inside the atom and used that knowledge both to treat disease and to build weapons capable of destroying entire cities. We created the Internet to connect the world and use it for both extraordinary knowledge-sharing and manipulation, division and control.
The technology does not make these choices. We do.
AI is confronting us with this truth more directly than any technology before it. Because AI is not only a mirror. It is an amplifier.
It can amplify our creativity, intelligence, curiosity and capacity to solve problems. But it can also amplify fear, greed, manipulation, control and destruction.
