This is a first draft of a one act play I've written based somewhat on my experience with HVS, or Hyperventilation Syndrome.

I've massacred the pronunciations of some of the medical jargon, no doubt.

Did you ever have a sound escape from your mouth that caught you off-guard? Where did it come from? And, how do you train to use your most authentic voice?

Have we internalized false messages to the point that we actually think we're operating on our own values? Do we really have a voice at the ballot box? Why does it matter?

Are thoughts and prayers meaningless? If you repeat something too much does it become meaningless? Why? And what can we do about it?

Have you ever found yourself totally out of breath and couldn't get it back? Did you wonder what happened? We'll talk about it in this episode. Our voice can be many things, not just the words that come out of our mouth. We can "speak" in many ways. When we choose to do hard things in the service of others, it speaks volumes.
