    2026/08/26

Hiya! My name's Terry J. Aman and in this, my 20th episode of VideoFuzzy the Soundtrack titled "Luminol," I celebrate artists in my collection beginning with the letter P.

[1:20] First, humanity took a big hit this week. I take a moment to celebrate the life of the astonishing Dolly Parton, a shining force for good in this world.

[3:30] My Title Track for this one, "Luminol," explores the work of college friend Paul Johnson and his work posted on YouTube at https://www.youtube.com/@pauljjohnsonmusic2121 with comments on the forensic science inspired "Luminol," exploring some of his other works [11:52] under Influences.

[20:08] In other Influences [artists with full LPs in my collection], I talk about Madonna, Poe, P.M. Dawn, Panic! At the Disco, The Pogues, [37:37] comments on Peppermint Hippo with my friend Drew Brady and his work with the Independent Silent Film Festival: https://luneaseas.org/isff7. [53:45] Plus, Paul Durham, Pat Benatar, Phish, Peter Gabriel, P!nk, Pink Floyd and Pearl Jam.

[1:04:22] In Breakouts [artists with multiple songs in my collection] I talk about Paramore, The Puppini Sisters, Pulp, The Pointer Sisters and The Pet Shop Boys.

[1:16:57] Under Sparks [artists with one song in my collection] I talk about The Postal Service; Psapp; Prehistoric Radio Gods; Portugal, The Man; Peter, Paul & Mary and Nina Simone; The Propellerheads and Shirley Bassey; Peggy Lee; Prince; Pitbull; Passenger; Portishead; Pigeon and Paradigm.

As always, any "music" or "singing" anyone thought they heard in this tiny indie podcast I can assure you that it wasn't [except for clips by Drew Brady and Peppermint Hippo, which were used with permission]. Any low-bar karaoke attempts were nothing more than simple sketch reference included for illustrative purposes to prompt listeners to track down and explore commercially available music through officially licensed sources and is by no means meant to infringe on anyone's copyright, licensing or distribution agreements. Go forth, buy songs and support the artists you love.

Dead Man's Party, commissioned by artist Daryl James of Ohio, IG: @Safetycub

Hiya! My name's Terry J. Aman and in this, my 19th episode of VideoFuzzy the Soundtrack titled "Dead Man's Party," I celebrate artists in my collection beginning with the letter O.

My Title Track for this one, "Dead Man's Party," opens with Oingo Boingo's single by that name, which inspired my to commission a piece from my artist friend Daryl James in Ohio. You can check out his page on Instagram here: https://www.instagram.com/safetycub/. It also opened my conversation about Influences [artists with entire LPs in my collection] where I talk about Oingo Boingo's 1985 LP release of the same name. Also, check out my third-ever VideoFuzzy the Soundtrack ... The Video! release at https://youtu.be/ZjankO6xu78.

In other Influences, I talk about Open Mind, their music available at https://citizenfreak.com/artists/106236-open-mind with playlist available at https://bit.ly/4fvYTWd with info on jazz artist Chantal Chamberland's website https://chantalc.com. Also, Oak Grove Lutheran High School's 1994 Choir "In Sacred Concert."

In Breakouts [artists with multiple songs in my collection], I interview my Denver-based DJ friend Drew Brady's extended play Orsica release, available through Bandcamp at https://orsicasongs.bandcamp.com/album/moon-age, with an Instagram presence at @midibehr, @br0thersaturn, @orsicasongs and @chromadrift. Under Sparks [artists with one song in my collection], I talk about Ozzy Osbourne, Olivia Newton John, Olive, Orgy, Orquestra d'Soul, Oleg Prodeus, Our Last Night, Our Lady Peace and O-Zone.
