Episode Trailer for Season One, Episode Sixteen of The Story of My Friends: Venice Beach, A Love Letter
Go to the Valley. Go Directly to the Valley. Do not pass the Skate Park. Do not collect a t-shirt from Harry Perry.
You run the risk of getting this card if you play the Venice-Opoly board game... and then you have to go to the Valley.
If you are part-time beach bum, part-time community activist, full time Venetian, that would be like a death sentence.
Meet Mark Rago. The creator of our own local Monopoly game. Who took it upon himself for multiple reasons, but mostly because he wanted the game to be Hecho en Venice.
We talk the many incarnations of Venice Beach California, community activism, the perils of gentrification, where to get a really good burger, the history of our hood, and a whole lot else.
Dropping in on October 1st.
Guest Stars: Mark Rago
