The Golden Knights and Mark Stone have not discussed future plans for the VGK Captain. Stone enters his contract year without any assurance the team will extend him. He carries a $9.5 million cap hit currently and a national outlet reported this weekend the talks have now been put on the backburner. Stone has missed 170 games during his 7 seasons with the Golden Knights. The Anaheim Ducks now have four days to decide if they want to match the Flyers offer sheet for Leo Carlsson. It would come at a hefty price of 5-years and $90-million. The Ducks would get four, first round draft picks if they don't match the sheet. And, we discuss what is next for VGK.
