  • More Than a Voice: Creating Safer Spaces, Changing Culture & Protecting Survivors
    2026/09/22

This week on Unmuted with Z & Ross Da Boss, we’re having an important conversation with Elizabeth from We Ride Together about sexual violence prevention, trauma-informed care, advocacy, sports culture, and what it really means to create spaces where people feel safe, heard, and protected.

While we’re continuing our Entre Dos Mundos journey for Hispanic Heritage Month, we also want to make space for conversations that reach beyond culture and remind us of our shared responsibility to look out for one another.

Because celebrating our communities also means talking about the things that affect them.

This conversation is about more than awareness. It’s about listening. It’s about prevention. It’s about changing culture. And it’s about understanding that creating safer spaces is something we ALL have a role in.

Some conversations may be uncomfortable, but that doesn’t mean they should be muted.

Watch. Listen. Share. Start the conversation.

Unmuted with Z & Ross Da BossA space where real conversations live, voices rise, and nothing is muted.

  • SIN MAPA: There Is More Than One Way to Make It
    2026/09/15

🌎 ENTRE DOS MUNDOS: Hispanic Heritage Month on Unmuted🇸🇻🇲🇽🇵🇷🇩🇴🇨🇴

This month, Unmuted with Z & Ross Da Boss is celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with our special theme, “Entre Dos Mundos” Between Two Worlds.

Entre cultures. Entre generaciones. Entre idiomas. Entre historias.

And we’re kicking things off with Gabe Bernal and an honest conversation about what it means to build a life when there isn’t always a map telling you where to go.

🎙️ SIN MAPA: There Is More Than One Way to Make It

Gabe’s story is a reminder that success doesn’t always follow the path we’re told it should. No traditional roadmap. No college degree. No perfectly laid-out plan. Just hard work, resilience, taking opportunities when they come, and creating your own definition of what “making it” looks like.

In this episode, we talk about education, opportunity, career paths, identity, and the courage it takes to believe in yourself when your journey looks different from everyone else’s.

Because sometimes, there is no map. And that doesn’t mean you’re lost.

    This is Entre Dos Mundos.

    This is Hispanic Heritage Month.

    And this is Unmuted.🎙️🔥

🎧 Watch. Listen. Share. And most importantly… stay tuned and stay unmuted.

  • When Words Become Survival: Poetry, Trauma & the Power to Heal
    2026/09/05

What happens when the words we struggle to say become the very thing that helps us survive?

In this powerful episode of Unmuted with Z & Ross Da Boss, we sit down with Shane Manier for a deeply honest conversation about poetry, trauma, healing, and finding your voice through the experiences that shape us.Shane shares how poetry became more than an art form. It became a way to process pain, make sense of difficult experiences, and turn emotions that were once difficult to express into something powerful and meaningful.

Together, we explore the connection between creativity and healing, the courage it takes to confront our stories, and what can happen when we stop silencing the parts of ourselves that are asking to be heard.

This conversation is raw, reflective, and deeply human. Because sometimes healing doesn't begin with having the right words. Sometimes it begins with simply giving yourself permission to speak.

This is Unmuted. Real conversations. Real stories. No filters. No silencing.Listen, share, and join the conversation.

    2026/08/14

We talk about our bodies all the time… until the conversation gets uncomfortable.

    Fibroids.

    Anemia.

    Pain.

    Exhaustion.

    Reproductive health.

And what happens when you’re not always seen the way healthcare systems expect you to be.

This week on Unmuted with Z & Ross Da Boss, Ross gets personal about her journey with uterine fibroids, surgery, severe anemia, and learning to stop normalizing what her body was trying to tell her.

    But this conversation goes deeper.

As a masculine-presenting woman, Ross opens up about navigating healthcare spaces where assumptions about gender, identity, and anatomy can create another layer of difficulty.

This is a conversation about Black women’s health. Health equity. Medical advocacy. And listening to your body before it has to scream.

    Because common doesn’t mean normal.

And pain should never be the price of being unheard.
