  • Morning Will Come
    2026/10/17

Some nights last longer than darkness on a clock.

There are seasons of grief, waiting, fear, disappointment, and unanswered prayer—times when we wonder whether life will ever feel light again.

Lamentations 3 was not written from a place of comfort. Its declaration that God’s mercies are new every morning was spoken in the middle of devastation. Hope did not deny the pain; hope declared that pain would not have the final word.

In this episode of Unmasked by Grace, we’ll talk about finding God’s faithfulness in dark seasons, recognizing the quiet mercies that meet us each day, and trusting that no night—not even the one that feels endless—can stop God from bringing new light.

    Hold on.

    The darkness is not permanent.

  • When the storm does its worst
    2026/10/06

“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you.”

    —Isaiah 43:2

    Episode Description

Life can change without warning. One moment we are standing in the sunlight; the next, we are being battered by a storm we never expected and cannot control.

Courage does not mean pretending the storm isn’t frightening. Faith does not mean believing nothing painful will ever happen. It means knowing that when the storm does its worst, it still does not have the final word. God does.

In this episode of Unmasked by Grace, we’ll talk about the strength that comes—not from believing we can conquer everything ourselves—but from knowing we never face anything alone.

  • Naaman wanted a hand God sent a river
    2026/09/26

Naaman arrived expecting the prophet to come outside, call upon God, and wave a hand over his diseased skin. Instead, he received an instruction that felt ordinary, inconvenient, and even insulting: go wash seven times in the Jordan River. Sometimes we nearly miss what God has prepared because His instructions do not match our expectations. This episode is about surrendering our pride, releasing our preferred method, and trusting that obedience—not spectacle—is

  • What Are You Building
    2026/09/24

Two people can be given the same gift, the same opportunity, and the same platform—yet build two very different things with them. One may use each moment to draw attention to themselves. The other may quietly lay down one faithful act after another until someone else has a pathway toward hope, healing, and Christ.

In this episode of Unmasked by Grace, we examine the difference between being visible and needing to be celebrated, between building a platform and building a pathway, and between attention that fades and purpose that continues to matter.

    > **Ego wants to be seen. Purpose wants to matter.**

  • Caught By Grace
    2026/09/23

What happens when someone is caught doing wrong—but instead of being humiliated, they are offered mercy?

In this episode of Unmasked by Grace, Donna shares the story of a young man who stole a shirt from a convenience store and the stranger who quietly gave him a way to step back into the truth. The wrongdoing was not ignored, excused, or called acceptable. But neither was the young man publicly exposed and reduced to the worst thing he had done.

This is a message about the difference between conviction and condemnation, confession and humiliation, and mercy and permission. Because every one of us has needed grace—and those who have received it should be among the first to extend it.

    > **He was caught by a man—but reached by grace.**

    Key Scripture: Galatians 6:1
Additional Scriptures: Romans 3:23–24; Romans 8:1; John 8:10–11; Ephesians 2:4–5; James 2:13

  • Strong beneath the surface
    2026/09/20

Have you ever watched someone else’s life grow quickly while yours seemed barely to be moving? Their ministry flourished. Their prayers appeared to be answered. Their healing came sooner. Meanwhile, you kept watering, waiting, and wondering what you were doing wrong.

But perhaps nothing was wrong. Perhaps God was doing His deepest work where no one could see it.

In this episode of Unmasked by Grace, we are reminded that visible growth is not the only kind of growth. Sometimes the season that looks slow above the surface is the very season in which God is building the roots that will hold us when the storm comes.

    > “Never mistake hidden growth for no growth.”

    Key Scripture: Jeremiah 17:7–8

  • The chair everyone passed by
    2026/09/20

There sat an old broken chair.

Its paint was peeling. One leg had fallen away, another was splintered, and the seat was scarred from years of wear. People passed by, looked at it, and kept walking.

    Nobody wanted the broken chair.

Some ignored it. Some laughed at it. To them, it had outlived its usefulness. It was damaged, unwanted, and easier to leave behind than to repair.

    But then one man stopped.

He did not see only what was broken. He saw what the chair could become.

He picked it up, carried it home, and began the slow work of restoration. He cleaned away the dirt. He repaired the broken places. He sanded the rough edges and worked patiently on the parts others had decided were beyond saving.

And when he finished, the chair that nobody wanted had become beautiful.

Maybe you know what it feels like to be that chair.

Maybe rejection taught you to believe that because someone did not choose you, you were not worth choosing. Perhaps you were abandoned, overlooked, criticized, betrayed, or made to feel that your broken places were all anyone could see.

But rejection is not proof that you have no value. Sometimes it is only proof that the person looking at you did not have the eyes, patience, or love to recognize what was there.

  • When your soul is still standing guard
    2026/09/19

Sometimes we are not struggling to sleep because we are not tired. We are struggling because our bodies are exhausted, but our souls are still standing guard.

In this episode of Unmasked by Grace, Donna explores why stillness can feel unsafe to a heart that has spent years anticipating trouble—and the comfort of knowing that God never slumbers or sleeps. You do not have to solve tomorrow tonight. God is already there, and you can rest now.
