    2026/02/23

#UUPotential Stories Show Episode 141 with Cale Birk: "The Power of Observable Impact"

Episode 141 of the #UUPotential Stories Show features an inspiring and reflective conversation with Cale Birk (@BirkLearns)

Cale is the author of five books, former teacher, principal, and director of innovation from British Columbia, Canada, who boldly stepped away from the traditional education system to pursue his calling as a leadership coach and consultant serving schools across the globe.

In this powerful episode, Cale shares the evolution of his leadership journey... from the classroom to the principal’s office, into system-level innovation, and ultimately into entrepreneurship. We explore the courage it takes to redefine your path, trust your instincts, and lean into the work that lights you up.

A central theme of our conversation is Cale’s concept of “observable impact.” We unpack what it truly means to measure growth — not by intention, but by evidence.

    Together, we dive into:

    • How leaders can create visible evidence of development.
    • Why observable impact matters for personal and professional growth.
    • The connection between coaching and collaborative team culture.
    • How quiet, steady leadership often drives the deepest change.
