Who are you before God? In this episode of Unlock the Bible, Reverend Thanos explores John 1 and shows how true Christian identity is received from Christ, not built on success, failure, reputation, or the past.

Rev. Thanos reflects on Galatians 5 to answer what a Christian truly looks like, emphasizing the fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control—as evidence of spiritual life and growth rather than religious performance.

He encourages listeners to examine their character, recognize the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit in gradual change, and invites everyone to join Epping Green Chapel for worship and community.

This episode offers pastoral and educational reflections on health anxiety, showing how it often begins with a physical sensation — a tightness in the chest, a lingering headache, or waking suddenly at night — and how Christians respond by Googling symptoms and feeling panic in waiting rooms.

We explore the deeper question of safety: is safety the absence of illness, or something found in faith and trust despite bodily worry?
