Unfiltered-ish is the midlife group chat you wish you were in. Each week, Carina Gardner, Nicki Krawczyk, and Natali Edmonds talk honestly about friendship, ambition, marriage, dating, money, aging, success, reinvention, and the strange little things that make you wonder, “Wait, is everyone else thinking this too?” They’re business friends turned real-life besties, bringing humor, honesty, and just enough chaos to the conversations women usually save for private texts.

At some point, being the “cool girl” stops feeling cool and starts feeling like self-abandonment.

This week on Unfiltered-ish, we start with bachelorette parties, strippers, strip clubs, Maui, Bear Lake, and Nicki’s extremely memorable lap dance story. But the conversation turns into something more honest: what we used to tolerate in relationships, what we no longer want to pretend we’re fine with, and how our boundaries around flirting, jealousy, respect, and attention have changed.

We talk about the difference between being low-maintenance and ignoring your own discomfort, why a man being “just friendly” can still feel disrespectful, whether strip clubs are harmless or a hard no, and why the right relationship should make other women jealous of you, not make you jealous of other women.

We also talk about Carina and Josh’s relationship, the small moments that show emotional safety, and why being truly known by someone can feel more romantic than any grand gesture.

If you’ve ever tried to be the chill one, ignored a red flag to seem easygoing, or realized you’re no longer available for the things you used to tolerate, this episode is for you.

  • Episode 42 The One Where Ina Garten’s Brownies Send Carina Over the Edge

What happens when a brownie recipe requires real chocolate, a sifter, the right pan, and three women with absolutely no interest in following directions?

This week on Unfiltered-ish, we attempt to recover from our Ina Garten brownie experience, which somehow includes Carina lying on the floor, a debate over whether she had a temper tantrum, a missing baking pan, deep resentment toward sifters, and the realization that maybe reading the recipe before starting would have helped.

Then things get even less organized. Josh makes a surprise appearance, we discuss tearing pages out of books as a marketing strategy, play a deeply unnecessary Jelly Belly tasting game, diagnose Carina as sugar drunk, and brainstorm questionable YouTube content involving brownies, vodka, spelling games, and random chaos.

Because sometimes friendship is not about having a clear topic. Sometimes it’s about feeding your friend a Twix before she fully crashes out.

If you’ve ever started a recipe without reading it, blamed the recipe anyway, gotten weirdly emotional about kitchen supplies, or laughed so hard you forgot what the episode was supposed to be about, this one is for you.

  • Episode 41 The One Where We Ask If Masterminds Are Still Worth It
    2026/08/12

Are high-ticket masterminds actually worth it, or are you really paying to get in the right room?

In this episode of Unfiltered-ish, Natali, Carina, and Nicki talk about masterminds, networking, business friendships, paid peer groups, and what really happens when ambitious women get in the same room. What starts with YouTube plans, brownies, Pokémon Go, and a game called NikkiMon Go turns into a deeper conversation about the Seven-Figure Sleepover, why people join masterminds, what makes them valuable, and when they stop being worth it.

We talk about the difference between a coach-led mastermind and a true peer mastermind, why expensive rooms can be useful filters, how we met through a paid mastermind, and why the best part was not the curriculum, but the relationships that came from it.

We also get into free versus paid masterminds, what happens when the wrong people are in the room, the problem with joining before you’re ready, business owners who want free mentorship, bad internet comments, entitled DMs, internships, student success stories, and why boundaries matter when people want access to your time.

If you’ve ever wondered whether to join a mastermind, pay to be in the room, build your network, or stop looking for the room and create your own, this episode is for you.
