  • Somebody actually gives a Damn

Episode Description — “Somebody Actually Gives a Damn”

Sometimes the people who care about us the most show it in the smallest ways.

After recently getting sick, Jason reflects on what it meant to have someone genuinely checking on him—asking how he was feeling, making sure he was taking care of himself, and refusing to accept the classic “I’m fine” when he clearly wasn’t. 😂

In this personal episode of Unfiltered & Off Script, Jason talks about learning to accept care instead of always trying to handle everything alone, the difference between concern and control, and why genuine appreciation has to go both ways.

De corazón, sometimes “Did you take your medicine?” really means “Me importas.” ❤️

Because finding someone who genuinely gives a damn about your health, happiness, and well-being?

Eso no aparece todos los días.

  • America, ¿Pero Qué Lo Que?
    2026/08/27

America, ¿Pero Qué Lo Que? 🇺🇸🇩🇴

Why does American politics feel less like governing and more like the longest-running reality show in history?

In this episode of Unfiltered & Off Script, Jason Vaughan takes on the political mess from every direction—and nobody gets a free pass.

From the two-party system and political tribalism to outrage-driven media, campaign money, lobbying, immigration, congressional dysfunction, and our own responsibility as voters, Jason asks a simple question: When did disagreeing politically mean we had to become enemies?

With his Dominican and Bermudian perspective, some Queens attitude, a little Dominican Spanish, and plenty of sarcasm, this isn't about telling you which party to support. It's about questioning the entire culture surrounding American politics—including the people we agree with.

    Republican? Democrat? Independent?

    Everybody's catching strays. 😂

Because democracy requires disagreement. It doesn't require hatred.

  • Wait You Did That?
    2026/08/20

What happens when a completely normal conversation takes a turn you absolutely did not see coming? 😂

In this episode of Unfiltered & Off Script, I talk about having a great conversation with a woman who seems sweet, calm, and innocent… until she starts casually sharing some of the wildest sexual experiences you could imagine.

It’s not judgment. It’s not even a turnoff. It’s just that moment where your brain goes, “Wait… YOU did that?”

We also get into something a lot more serious: stress. I talk about how easy it is to let stress build up until it starts affecting your mood, your relationships, and the way you react to everything around you.

For me, two of the biggest resets are music and the gym. Whether I’m creating music, putting on headphones, or getting a workout in, both give me a way to clear my head and get back to myself.

This episode is about unexpected conversations, not judging people by appearances, finding healthy ways to decompress, and remembering that everybody has layers.

And yes… sometimes the quiet ones have the wildest stories. 😂

  • If you're really my friend, tell me the truth
    2026/08/07

What does a real friend actually look like?

In this episode of Unfiltered & Off Script, Jason Vaughan talks about the side of friendship that doesn’t always feel good: honesty, accountability, and hearing the truth even when it hurts.

A real friend isn’t someone who agrees with everything you do, excuses every mistake, or automatically takes your side. Sometimes real friendship means hearing, “You were wrong,” “You need to apologize,” or even, “I love you, but you’re on some bullshit right now.”

This episode dives into the difference between support and enabling, accountability and control, honesty and humiliation, and why the people who challenge you may be the people who care about you the most.

It also raises a harder question: Are your friends comfortable telling you the truth, or have you made honesty too expensive?

Funny, direct, and thought-provoking, this episode is about protecting real friendships, checking your ego, owning your mistakes, and appreciating the people who love you enough to tell you what everybody else is afraid to say.

Because sometimes the most loyal person in the room isn’t the one cheering the loudest.

It’s the one willing to tell you the truth.

  • Do You Want Love—or Just the Idea of It?
    2026/08/06

Do people truly want love—or just the attention, comfort, and picture-perfect fantasy that comes with it?

In this episode of Unfiltered & Off Script, Jason Vaughan explores the difference between real love and the idealized version people create in their minds. From falling for potential and confusing inconsistency with passion to avoiding accountability when relationships become difficult, this conversation asks what it actually means to participate in healthy, honest love.

Real love isn’t only dates, affection, and social-media moments. It also requires communication, patience, boundaries, consistency, emotional maturity, and the courage to accept another person as a real human being—not a character written to fulfill your fantasy.

  • Are we still real ?
    2026/08/02

Are we still being authentic, or have we simply learned how to package our lives for attention?

In this episode of Unfiltered & Off Script, Jason Vaughan explores how vulnerability has become content, why independent creatives are struggling to build sustainable careers, and how algorithms are reshaping music, storytelling, relationships, and public accountability.

From parasocial connections and digital loneliness to shrinking attention spans and the lack of redemption in online culture, this episode asks what happens when every emotion, mistake, relationship, and creative idea becomes part of a personal brand.

It’s an honest, humorous, and thought-provoking conversation about protecting your creativity, your attention, and the parts of yourself that were never meant to be optimized.

    2026/08/04

In this episode of Unfiltered & Off Script, Jason Vaughan explores the tension between healthy balance and relentless obsession. From ambition, burnout, sacrifice, and strained relationships to the difference between discipline and self-destruction, this conversation asks whether extraordinary success truly requires an unhealthy price.

  • WHEN TRAGEDY BECOMES BACKGROUND, NOISE
    2026/08/01

In this episode of Unfiltered & Off Script, Jason Vaughan takes a serious look at how constant exposure to tragedy has made many people emotionally numb. From deportations and family separations in the United States to the way social media turns real suffering into another headline to scroll past, this episode challenges listeners to think about what happens when compassion becomes selective.

The conversation then takes a lighter turn with some of the funniest and most unusual stories in the news before closing with a powerful reminder: protecting your peace doesn’t mean losing your humanity. You can laugh, disagree, support accountability, and still care about the people behind the statistics.
