Where can we find our blueprints for liberation?

What if you found out that our roadmaps for liberation are not only alive but also hidden in plain sight?

Well, buckle up Beloved…

In this conversation, I’m joined by acclaimed author, speaker, producer, truth seeker and mischief maker, Nova Reid.

Nova is a founder and visionary who uses the power of storytelling to help solve social justice issues. She is a renowned agent of change, winning multiple accolades for her work in racial justice spanning over a decade.

During this episode, we discuss her six-part audio documentary series Hidden Histories with Nova Reid which brings to life the untold and often forgotten stories of extraordinary Black Caribbean women like Queen Nanny of the Maroons, Olive Morris, Cuban Cornwallis and more who helped shape world history, culture and society.

Through sharing these revolutionary women’s narratives Nova invites us to see their humanity beyond their activism and in return we uncover our personal and collective blueprints for liberation.

In this episode we explore:

• Moving from dehumanization to humanization in a world eclipsed by anti-Black racism
• How connecting to our Indigenous technologies transforms legacies of harm into legacies of healing
• Unlearning the colonial demonization of Afro-Indigenous traditional spirituality and reconnecting to our power
• How to choose liberation even in the midst of chaos and confusion
• and so much more

I hope this episode gifts you with clear sight and opens your heart to orient towards the living liberatory blueprints awaiting us now.
