UMBC men’s basketball is heating up the season early with a doubleheader exhibition on October 11th, featuring high-stakes matchups against Maryland, Georgia Tech, and LIU — all at the Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena. The Retrievers, fresh off their championship run, take on LIU at 2 p.m., followed by Maryland vs. Georgia Tech at 4:30 p.m. Fans can catch both games with one ticket — season holders already included. Don’t forget to check the clear bag policy. Mark your calendar — this is your chance for non-stop hoops action before the official season even begins.
