  • Trivial Tuesday - World Dracula Day
    2026/05/26

Sink your teeth into this week’s episode of Tusked Trivia! 🦷🌊

Today we’re heading for the shadows of Transylvania. It’s World Dracula Day (celebrated every May 26th to mark the publication of Bram Stoker’s masterpiece in 1897), and we’ve gathered five questions to test if you’re a Van Helsing or just a snack for the Count.

The name almost didn't stick.Bram Stoker’s original notes show that he intended to call his famous vampire "Count Wampyr." It wasn’t until he was doing research at a library in Whitby that he came across the name Dracula in a history book. He mistakenly believed it meant "Devil" in Romanian (it actually stems from Dracul, meaning Dragon).✨ THE INSPIRATION

"We learn from failure, not from success!" — Bram Stoker

In a world that often demands perfection, remember that even the most legendary stories—and the most resilient souls—are built on the trials of the past. Keep moving forward, even if you're navigating through the dark.

  • Trivial Tuesday - World Fair Play Day
    2026/05/19

It’s time for another episode of Tusked Trivia, the only quiz that’s 100% walrus and 0% elephant. This week, we’re honouring World Fair Play Day—because whether you’re on the pitch or the ice floe, integrity is everything.

Grab your pod and see if you can slide through these questions without any "blubbering."

🦷 The "Tooth" About Fair Play

Walrus Fact: Male walruses (bulls) are actually surprisingly "fair" when it comes to territory. Instead of jumping straight into a fight, they often use their tusks as a visual hierarchy. They’ll size each other up by tusk length and body size; the smaller walrus will usually "concede" and move along without a drop of blood being shed. It’s the Arctic version of "respecting the stats" before the game even starts!

    🌊 Parting Thought

"One man practicing good sportsmanship is far better than fifty others preaching it." — Knute Rockne

In a world where it’s easy to cut corners to get ahead, remember that the "win" feels a whole lot better when you know you played by the rules. Be a leader in your own arena today.

  • Trivial Tuesday - National Limerick Day
    2026/05/12

It’s National Limerick Day, and since we’re suckers for a good rhythm (and an even better punchline), we’ve packed the trunk with a special episode that’s more lyrical than a songbird and twice as heavy.

    📝 What’s on the Playlist?

We’re keeping it tight, bright, and slightly absurd today:

    • 5 Rapid-Fire Questions: Testing your wits while we test the limits of our poetic licenses.

    • A "Did-That-Really-Happen?" Fact: One truth so strange it’ll make your ears flap.

    • A Moment of Zen: An inspirational sign-off to keep you motivated until the next episode.

    🎙️ The "Check-the-Audio" Limerick

We tried to be classy and sleek,

But the rhymes made our logic feel weak.

    Five questions we’ll pose,

From your head to your toes,

With a tongue firmly placed in our cheek!
