One rude comment can live in your head for hours, even when a thousand other people are cheering you on. We get real about that tug-of-war and how we finally stopped letting the internet decide our mood. Sarah and I share what it looked like in the early days when hate comments hit harder, and what changed when we accepted the truth every creator has to learn: you’re not for everybody, and that’s fine.

We break down our approach to online hate, trolls, and keyboard warriors, including when we delete comments, when we block, and why we don’t waste energy trying to “win” an argument with a stranger.
