Tyler Ringgold is turning heads on and off the court this season, leading Tulane basketball while building a community legacy through his free youth camp “Let Me Hoop.” Once a high school clothing brand, the program now empowers New Orleans kids with basketball skills and mentorship — a mission deeply personal for Ringgold, who grew up in Baton Rouge and found inspiration in being mentored himself. As one of the few returning players, he’s stepping into a leadership role, studying film, mentoring newcomers, and helping forge a unified, family-like team. With ten new players joining the roster, Ringgold believes this is the strongest team he’s ever been part of — and he’s determined to make it count, both on the hardwood and in the community.
