  • How To Survive The Holidays
    2025/11/18

The holiday season is here! Before you start freaking out about how to handle your dysfunctional family…Relax, I am here to help.

As much as I love a peppermint latte or a festive throw pillow, the holidays can be really rough. This week on Trying To Figure It Out, I'm dishing out my Holiday Survival Guide to get you through these next few weeks.

I share what Thanksgiving and Christmas were like in my family growing up with divorced parents, and I walk you through all the ways I've learned to cope when things start to fall apart over turkey and gravy. In this episode, you'll learn how to deal with your nosy aunt who won't stop asking you prying questions. You'll learn ways to protect your peace and set boundaries and how to make the holidays feel special even when your family doesn't look like the ones in Hallmark Christmas movies. Lastly, I spill all the details about the 25 Days of Christmas Instagrams that I'm (re)launching this year. Cozy up with your favorite holiday bevvy and enjoy!

  • Victoria Monét: Back in the Studio & Living Up To Your Past Self
    2025/11/04

Victoria Monét is on this week's episode of Trying To Figure It Out! When I started working for Victoria two summers ago, both of us realized right away that we had something special. Our work relationship turned into a real friendship and I am so happy to have her on this episode of TTFIO, revealing a side of Victoria the world hasn't seen.

We reminisce on some of our wildest memories from her first headlining tour, when we spent two months living together on a tour bus. She capped off that year with seven Grammy nominations and it's been a whirlwind since then. We talk about her new music, the inspiration for her next album, and the pressure that comes with creating after achieving such success. She even spills when you can expect new music.

From her mental health struggles, to how she co-parents with her daughter's dad, to her dream music collaboration, we cover it all in this episode. Enjoy!

  • SOLO: I Deleted Social Media...Here's What Happened
    2025/10/14

I quit social media for a week and here's what I learned. Welcome back to Trying to Figure it Out. In this episode, I take you through the events that led me to feeling completely burnt out by the doomscroll and deciding to actually do something about it. This is the first time I have ever committed to taking a break from social media. Ever. Since I signed up for Instagram when I was 14 years old, I have not taken a day off from checking these apps. Until now!

My three friends and I decided that we'd had enough and in this episode I'm going to fill you in on everything I gained from that experience. And yes, I'm back on TikTok now, but I've set parameters that I'm sticking to and boundaries that are working for me. Listen to this episode and get inspired to put the phone down.

  • SOLO: How To Find The Right Therapist
    2025/09/30

This week on Trying to Figure it Out, I'm sharing all my best advice for how to find the right therapist for you. I share my recent decision to move on from someone who wasn't helping me in the way I need, and how I'm finding a therapist who will be a better fit.

A therapy journey isn't linear and it can be hard to find the right person to help you work through the difficult emotions that will inevitably surface during your sessions. In today's episode, I break down all the different therapy modalities that I've tried, logistical elements to consider when picking your therapist, and where to actually find a therapist who checks all your boxes. There's a therapist out there for you! I hope this episode helps you find them.

  • SOLO: Summer Recap & The Art of the Half-Rot
    2025/09/17

We're approaching peak sweater weather and I'm officially defrosting – Fall is my time to shine. But before we get into all the autumnal festivities, I'm here with a solo episode this week to recap my summer.

My summer started off with a bang in May. I had 2.3 million events in May, and went on a dream vacay to Hawaii the first week in June. I recap those events for you in this episode, but, once June came around, I needed a serious reset. My overflowing schedule has always helped me distract myself from how I'm really feeling on the inside, and in this episode, I share how I learned to slow down and connect with myself again this summer. I introduce the art of the half-rot and how I'm working on co-existing with my trauma. Happy fall everyone!!

  • Pregnancy, Postpartum, and Becoming a New Mom
    2025/09/09

This week on Trying to Figure It Out, I'm with Dr. Arias, a psychologist and expert in all things pregnancy, postpartum, women's health, and relationship dynamics. Having a baby is the ultimate lesson in taking a leap into the unknown and Dr. Arias is here to break down the mental side of becoming a mom.

She explains how special and fragile the human body is during pregnancy and postpartum. Physically and mentally, Dr. Arias prioritizes taking care of yourself so you can take care of your baby. She talks about postpartum depression and the feelings some moms get after having a baby, and how that is normal. Almost everything that happens around having a baby is out of the mom's control. And that is really, really hard. Dr.Arias explains ways to manage that feeling and answers more questions you have about pregnancy and postpartum.

    Enjoy!

  • Plastic Surgery: Buccal Fat Removal, Botox, & Botched Lip Filler
    2025/08/26

Let's talk about plastic surgery. Welcome back to another TTFIO solo episode. This week, I'm going completely makeup-free while detailing the highs and lows of every single cosmetic procedure and surgery I've tried. We talk about the first time I went to a plastic surgeon (when I was 20!) and which procedures the surgeon told me I could consider to enhance my appearance. And the truth is, I did end up going under the knife at his suggestion.

Botox, filler, injectables…I walk you through the little tweaks that I intend to do for the foreseeable future. Not all my experiences have been positive though, and I reveal the one major thing that I regret doing and why. Finally, I tell the story of a terrifying and traumatizing filler experience, and why I have no plans to ever get my lips filled again.
