👉 Scripture References Below.In our previous episode, we jumped back into our regular verse-by-verse series by showing 3 different incorrect views of the "faith in his blood" of verse 25. Not only did we show the error in these interpretations, but we also proved (with scripture in context) what verse 25 means dispensationally. Using God's Word, we explained why it is not "our gospel" as preached by our apostle Paul, specifically pointing to the reality that the sins which are dealt with in the verse are ONLY the "sins that are past."Today, we examine the terms "by faith" and "through faith" in verse 30 of Romans chapter 3. Paul clearly states justification is obtained in two different ways for two different groups: the circumcision and the uncircumcision. We will demonstrate with scripture, how "by faith" and "through faith" are exercised. In doing so, we will answer these very important questions: ●How does "through faith" apply to obtaining salvation?●What does "by faith" mean for the believer in all dispensations?●Why is Paul name two different ways for obtaining justification? ●How does one "receive" something that is intangible? ●Do Limited Forgivers reject the "forgiveness of sins" as preached by Paul? We proved with scripture that Jesus did not have to exercise perfect faith in the hope that he would rise on the third day because he KNEW that he would be raised. We also, once again, identified the conflation of two terms which have completely different definitions: faith and faithful. We revealed the error of using these two terms interchangeably. And finally, we took a look at some of the Pauline verses that the most extreme "Jesus had faith" proponents twist into oblivion with no regard to context. Today, we end this "Faith of Christ" series by looking at some scriptures from the earthly ministry of Jesus in which many use as proof that he exercised faith, just as sinful man is required to do. But first, we will break down Paul's description of the Man Christ Jesus in Philippians 2:5-8, a passage used by proponents of the "Kenosis Theory" to claim Christ emptied himself of all Godhead attributes (deity) in order to become a man. We will also take a look at other non-Pauline verses that are often used by those who insist Jesus Christ, God in the flesh - was required to exercise faith during his earthly ministry.
