President Donald Trump is set to headline a campaign rally in Dalton, Georgia, on Friday, October 16, 2026, at the Dalton Municipal Airport.

The venue will welcome attendees starting at 11:30 a.m., with preliminary programming commencing at 1:30 p.m., followed by Trump's keynote address at 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time.

This event represents a key component of the Republican midterm election strategy, designed to energize support for GOP candidates in the upcoming general election. Trump will campaign alongside Rep. Mike Collins, who is challenging Democratic incumbent Sen. Jon Ossoff for a U.S. Senate seat, while also backing Rick Jackson, the Republican nominee for Georgia Governor.

Security preparations are extensive, with local law enforcement and the U.S. Secret Service coordinating comprehensive safety protocols and traffic management. Airport Road SE, situated behind the Dalton Municipal Airport, will remain completely closed throughout Friday.

Parking restrictions are in effect along Airport Road and adjacent streets, with shoulders and county easements off-limits; vehicles violating these restrictions will be towed immediately.

Attendees must adhere to strict weapon policies—firearms are prohibited inside vehicles, and individuals discovered carrying weapons will be removed from the premises and barred from re-entry for the duration of the event.

This marks Trump's third Georgia visit in 2026, following an appearance at Wheeler High School in Cobb County in July and a campaign event at Coosa Steel Corporation in Rome, Georgia, on February 19.
