Cyndi Overton takes over True Crime Time For and begins with one of Cleveland's most disturbing unsolved mysteries: the Cleveland Torso Murders. Between 1935 and 1938, a series of dismembered victims were discovered around Kingsbury Run, many of whom were never identified. Cyndi follows the investigation through Eliot Ness, the controversial destruction of the Kingsbury Run encampments, the disputed confession of Frank Dolezal, and Ness's suspicions surrounding Dr. Francis Sweeney. The murders remain officially unsolved.

Then Cyndi turns to three difficult cases involving children. In Kentucky, 19-year-old Elijah Mayes is charged with murder and other offenses after 11-month-old Grayson Walton was found dead inside a couch. Mayes has pleaded not guilty.

In Belle Rose, Louisiana, Bernard JR Fleander, 26, faces a first-degree murder charge in the death of a 3-year-old girl he had been caring for. The Assumption Parish Sheriff's Office says the child's death was ruled a homicide.

Finally, Cyndi shares the case of 17-month-old Jalen “JJ” Harding and Kassandra L. Bracewell, who pleaded guilty to neglect of a dependent resulting in death and received a 33-year sentence with three years suspended. The case leads Cyndi to share the deeply personal story of her younger brother and why crimes against defenseless children affect her so profoundly.

She closes with a simple challenge: when anger or frustration takes over, walk away, ask for help, and make a different choice.
