"It didn't happen the way I thought it would, did it?" Thats what Caleb Flynn whispered in his mistress's ear after the death of his wife.

In 2013, Caleb Flynn was on American Idol as a music pastor from Ohio, encouraged by his wife, Ashley. Thirteen years later, in February of this year(2026), Ashley was shot inside their home. Caleb told police an intruder had broken in. But something isn't right. Just hours before Ashley was killed, Caleb sent one last message to his mistress, Alleigha Botner: “I choose you. I’m free. Actions will come tomorrow.” In September of this year, 2026, Caleb went on trial. After hearing from around 40 witnesses and reading through boxes filled with messages he had tried to keep hidden, the jury found him guilty on all counts after two hours of deliberation.

Christa Gail Pike is a convicted murderer who is incarcerated on death row in Tennessee. In 1995, when she was 18, Pike murdered 19-year-old Colleen Slemmer in Knoxville. Pike and two friends led Slemmer into the woods, where they tortured and killed her. In 1996 at just 20 years old, Pike was sentenced to death, making her one of the youngest women to be sentenced to death in the United States.

She is scheduled to be executed on September 30, 2026. If carried out, she will be the 19th woman executed nationwide since 1976 and the first woman executed in Tennessee in over 200 years. Pike's sentence remains controversial, arguing her legal defense failed to present mitigating evidence at trial, including the effect of her youth and childhood trauma on her decision-making abilities and mental health.

A 38-year-old mom named Corie Walsh from Illinois allegedly killed her two-year-old son on September 1st, 2026. She was arrested following the incident and is currently being treated, according to a September 4, 2026 report. Reportedly, she was found with wounds that were believed to be self-inflicted but not life-threatening. She also was expressing a lot of interest in the Lindsay Clancy case, and changing her opinion on the case the day of her alleged crime.

On June 30, 2026, around noon, the police received a 911 call reporting a shooting in the parking lot of the Walmart in North Lauderdale, Florida. When officers arrived, they found Bart DiGuglielmo in the parking lot suffering from a single gunshot wound to his abdomen. He was taken to a hospital where he later died. The shooter was a woman named Melissa Payne, who told the police that Bart had threatened her.

Today we’re talking about the tragic death of 30-year-old Mica Miller, which has been officially ruled a suicide. Just two days prior, her estranged husband JP had been served with divorce papers. Myrtle Beach pastor John-Paul "J.P." Miller, faces federal cyberstalking charges, among other things. Mica had contacted law enforcement multiple times, reporting that she was being relentlessly stalked and harassed. Her family and friends maintain that his severe emotional abuse and manipulation drove her to take her own life.

It's been nearly 20 years since Curtis Severns was sentenced to 27 years in federal prison. Convicted of intentionally starting the fire in his gun shop, he would have 7 years left on his sentence, had he not been released early. Severns has maintained his innocence all along.

As in many arson cases, he was convicted almost exclusively by the testimony of fire investigators who relied on assumptions that some of the leading arson experts in the country now say are false. In fact, new evidence reveals that Severns did time for a crime he probably didn’t commit.
