  • FRIDAY NIGHT THREAT: Fayetteville Tigers vs. Forrest Rockets | High School Football
    2026/09/21

We had a packed show this week with Middle Tennessee football, media talk, rankings, player debates, and a surprise return from one of the TTS crew.

Ravenwood defensive end Zyan Brown joined us following Ravenwood’s dominant win over Franklin. Zyan talked about the victory, what the win meant for the Raptors, and what he saw from his team on both sides of the ball.

Joining Zyan was Miguel Alcala, a photographer and creative content creator who works with Franklin Admirals Football and serves as a creative intern with Trevecca Nazarene University. Miguel gave us his perspective from behind the camera and talked about capturing the game and telling the story of high school football through content.

We also had Coach Pedro join the show. Pedro is behind All Sports Mastery, providing 1-on-1 and group athletic training, along with SportsGrind Media, which covers Middle Tennessee sports through highlights, interviews, and game recaps. Coach Pedro talked about Page, gave his thoughts on the current Middle Tennessee football landscape, and dropped his Top 5 teams in the city.

👀Then we got a surprise appearance from JG Speaks. One of the four members of Triple Threat Sportscast tapped in straight from work after being away from the show for a minute — and immediately jumped into the football conversation.

We closed things out with a debate surrounding Forrest Rockets standout Quincy Mitchell vs. Larry Sanders of Brentwood Academy, along with a deeper conversation about classification, competition level, and how much classification should matter when comparing high school football players.

    🔥 On this episode:

Zyan Brown on Ravenwood’s big win over Franklin

Miguel Alcala on photography, content creation, and high school football media

  • Friday Night Threat | St. Joseph’s Prep Beats Brentwood Academy 31-23 + TN High School Football
    2026/09/06

🔥 St. Joseph’s Prep came into Brentwood and left with a 31-23 road win over Brentwood Academy in a matchup loaded with high-level talent.

From the opening kick, this game felt like a battle between two programs with serious playmakers on both sides. Masiia Acrey, Brandon Lockley Jr., Max Rogers and Jett Harrison helped headline a talented St. Joseph’s Prep group that stayed composed and capitalized when opportunities came.

For Brentwood Academy, Crews Jenkins, Kesean Bowman, Kenneth Simon II and Larry Sanders II were among the featured names in a game where BA showed flashes, but turnovers and missed opportunities became difficult to overcome.

The TTS crew breaks down how execution, discipline, turnovers, focus and second-half adjustments shaped the outcome. In a game filled with college-level talent, the difference came down to who handled the critical moments better — and St. Joseph’s Prep did enough to leave Tennessee with the win.

🏈 We also get into Smyrna’s win over Oakland, BGA’s continued push at the top of the Middle Tennessee rankings, standout performances, upcoming matchups and what these results mean moving forward.

💬 What was the biggest difference in the game — turnovers, execution or discipline?
